Websites

The Internet has become an incredible resource for information about anything. Websites are the interfaces provided to get to the information. There are literally billions of pages on the Internet, and I've written a few of them myself.

I've never taken any formal classes for writing software, just have a knack for it and have read a lot of programming books. I started out in the 70s writing in assembly language, which is the native language that computers understand. My first real job computer job was with Square D Company (acquired by Schneider Electric), writing software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). I was working in engineering, and met my wife there who was the trade show coordinator in marketing. When that was bought out by Schneider Electric, and the offices moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, we decided to stay in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, and I was hired by ICOM, which was also in the PLC business. After they were bought out by Rockwell Software, I left again and worked full time on our restaurant at the time, the Delafield Brewhaus. When THAT was bought out (sure got caught in a lot of acquisitions), I ended up retiring and doing a bunch of websites, which are listed below.
